And so goes life. To think of the years it took those old trees to grow to maturity. Some of them had seen more than any of us living today. Beautiful post Elouise.

Oh Tom. I so agree with your comment. Overall I find it like a graveyard–sad yet strangely beautiful. They also remind me of fallen soldiers on beaches.
