In the spice bazaar

In the spice bazaar
temptations aromatic
waft through air
heavy with longing
I reach out my hand

Response to WordPress Daily Prompt: Aromatic
Oh, this evokes memories, Elouise! I LOVED to wander through the Souk in Old City, Jerusalem. I especially enjoyed dipping my “untied bagels” in za’atar – a yummy spice mixture that came in little paper packs with each “bagel” – the Middle Eastern equivalent to mustard and hot pretzels! Oh, how I would love to return and wander through again with my friends…thank you for the aromatic memory prompt!

Hi Elouise, every time I see the word Osiris, I think of the Twelve Tasks of Asterix or whatever it’s called. Not a great cartoon, but memorable, in its way.
Bless you! 🙂 xx

Hi, Fran. I’ve never ever heard of these movies–until right now! I just found The Twelve Tasks of Asterix on YouTube, along with multiple other Asterix adventures, and watched the opening 10-12 minutes. How could I have missed this???? I must remedy my educational experience! 🙂

It’s kids stuff, and not very good animation, but the sound effects are a bit catchy…. 🙂 xxx

Yes they are (catchy)! I also like goofy, which seems to be a guiding thread. Along with historical jokes. Probably years ahead of its time back then! Thanks, Fran. I bookmarked it … 🙂
