shimmering hope
by Elouise
shimmering hope sprung
eons ago lies dormant
frozen underfoot
trampled beneath scornful words
it wonders and waits
***
A little poem for you, my friends,
with prayers for a Meaningful New Year of growth,
unexpected beauty, strength of character,
and creative resourcefulness when things don’t go exactly as planned!

Response to WordPress Daily Prompt: Hopeful
Thank you, Elouise, for these words of beauty and grace – reflective of their author. May 2017 be full of the word and reality of “Well,” even if your name is not Julian… 🙂

You always strike the right chord at the perfect time. Peace and blessings my friend and Happy New Year…unless you live in the woods, then it would be Happy Gnu Deer 🙂 ❤

That’s gnu to me! And since we have lots of wooded areas around our neighborhood… we’re enjoying very balmy weather today–in the high 40’s. Good day for another nice walk around the neighborhood, after a teeny tiny snooze!
