Christmas Swan front and center, Conservatory Auditorium – Dec 2014

Dear Readers,
We enjoyed a fabulous late afternoon and evening at Longwood yesterday.  It was cold and a bit breezy, but oh so beautiful!  The theme throughout the Conservatory was birds, birds, birds!

Here’s a cutie on one of many decorated trees:

Doesn’t this make your heart melt?
They’re on top of an iced boulder in the desert display.
Mom is careening down the side of the boulder.
Sorry, she didn’t want her picture taken!

More fun in the area with trees decorated by school children!

The goose got away but she left this for us to drool over:

And what about the blog update?  That’s easy.  It’s Christmas!  I have some posts ready to go, and will check in every day to see what’s happening.  However, I’ll also be enjoying holiday time with friends and family in the next week to ten days.

I hope you all have plans to chill out, listen to beautiful music, attend church or other worship services, read a good book or two, take a long walk with a friend, surf, ski, watch birds, put together huge puzzles, knit, try a new recipe, or whatever gives you joy and inspiration.

Blessings of the Season!
