Easter Lilies and Justice | Dear Diane
by Elouise
Dear Friends,
This is one of my favorite posts about Diane, Sister #3. She died of ALS in February 2006 after living with it for more than 10 years. Diane was born on an Easter Sunday in April 1949. I hope you enjoy reading or rereading this Happy Easter post from me to you!

Dear Diane,
Funny how things come together: Easter lilies, our first apartment, and Mr. Griswold.
Easter Sunday always reminds me of you.

On Easter Sunday 1949, the 17th April, I celebrated my 14th birthday.
Easter Monday this year was, I believe, the final Easter for my birthday celebrations. I doubt I’ll be around the next time it falls in mid April

You and Diane share a birthday?! 😊 What are the chances of that? I guess that makes you an honorary brother, whether you like it or not. I think you and Diane would have made lively conversation partners. She was sharp as a tack, bright, and had a quick wit.

She definitely gave as good as she got–especially in conversation, and without alienating anyone. So yes, I agree with you! 😊
