Rain

rain on uneven pavement, loftransport.wordpress.com

Rain drops
on drenched ground
eyeglasses, face
and heart

Cracks loom
in un-even pavement
Tears spring unbidden
Artesian wells overflow

Unnoticed
I walk through this cold front
of memories, grief and healing
