brushed lightly

brushed lightly
on canvas with
love from God

I can’t help thinking about Howard Finster and his bold paintings
sent to us and all creation with enthusiastic love.

It seems HF was imaging his Maker when he created
his  sometimes eccentric, even wacky nature-loving works of art–
all in response to God’s directives.

Every bit of natural and human beauty,
whether dressed up or down,
comes from the hand of the Master Artist
who occasionally graces us with views
such as the one above,
thanks to human gardeners and artists who set the stage.

Too good to be true?
I say too good not to be true.

God bless you all.
