Good News and three choice photos
by Elouise
Good News! I am not a candidate for the health challenge no one wants to face: hypogammaglobulinemia.
So I’m back to floor exercises to help ease pain in my legs and feet, walking, playing the piano, writing, resting as needed, and eating mostly vegan food on behalf of my heart and kidneys. Peripheral neuropathy and osteoarthritis in my lower spine are more than enough for now. That, plus the reality that the end of my life keeps approaching, one day and night after another.
Just for fun, above and below are three recent photos of Christmas cheer and Smudge. D took the photo at the top; I took the rest with my iPad. Am I besotted with Smudge? Yes, indeed! Especially when he’s behaving well.

Cheers to each of you!

Wonderful! π I can’t eat vegan, though I have sincerely tried. I’m glad you are besotted with smudge. We can all use a bit of besotment in our lives. It keeps us warm. ((xxx))

Doesn’t it, though? (Keep us warm!) The virtually vegan diet started after I broke my jaw and then found out I had kidney disease! Not exactly the diet I would have chosen on my own. I still remember how wonderful those pizzas were! π

Iβm so glad you do not have a disease with a name so long you have to rest on a park bench half way through. No need to let this monster crowd out your vocabulary. Wonderful news!

What a great response, dw! I agree–just getting through saying or writing the word itself is more than I can bear! π

Thank you kindly. D knows your ouch! I’m happy to say it isn’t yet in my health vocabulary. Today looks much better (to me) than yesterday did, even though it’s raining today and tomorrow. Cheers!
